Verse for Today
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: Isaiah 40:28-30 KJV

Jerusalem Report - Showdown with Iran
Publish Date: 06/24/2008
Iran is at the brink of going nuclear and will reach the point of no return of its nuclear program within a year. Most Israeli terror deaths are from Iran’s proxies: Hezbollah and Hamas. Most U.S. deaths in Iraq are from the Mahdi Army and Iranian IED’s.
Iranian President Ahmadinejad believes he will usher in the Mahdi through Armageddon and all infidels (Jews and Crusaders) will be instantly converted or beheaded once he has an atomic bomb.

Answers In Prophecy: Indiana Jones and the spiritual realm
Publish Date: 06/12/2008
The new film is saturated with producer George Lucas's thirst for the discovery of extra-terrestrial life. In fact, the movie is almost a ripoff of Erich von Daniken's Chariots of the gods, from the 1970s. No longer is Indy exposing millions of moviegoers to at least a semblance of biblical archaeology. Now he is on a quest to uncover what he considers the ultimate treasure: knowledge and wisdom. How sad that we have moved from the realm of King David and his son and successor, Solomon, who were entrusted with the safekeeping of the Ark of the covenant. Now we have an alternate version of history - and one on an epic scale.

The gift and the pain
Publish Date: 06/10/2008
In my life I have asked many questions about faith and belief in God. When I was a young boy my mum would wake us up at 5:30 in the morning for our daily morning prayer. I was six years old at the time. There were days in my childhood when I would wake up wondering where my food was only to be told that the entire family was embarking on a fast that day to seek God’s face for my father’s continued employment. Certainly growing up in a place like Ghana-West Africa was far from easy.

Pilots Run Out of Fuel, Pray, Land Safely Near Jesus Sign
Publish Date: 05/27/2008
WELLINGTON, New Zealand - It seemed like an almost literal answer to their prayers. When two New Zealand pilots ran out of fuel in a microlight airplane they offered prayers and were able to make an emergency landing in a field - coming to rest right next to a sign reading, "Jesus is Lord."

GOD IS GOOD
Publish Date: 04/30/2008
God is good. That's not a controversial statement, is it? Today it's an easily accepted statement. However, a half century ago, that was apparently not always the case.
Some years ago, I heard the story of how a well known "healing evangelist" caused many "Christians" (?) to become rather upset with the statement, "God is good." Although I won't mention his name here, you may know to whom I'm referring, as I quote his famous statement: "God is a good God, and the devil is a bad devil."

WHERE ARE THEY?
Publish Date: 04/30/2008
Galatians 6:1 tells us that if we see someone overtaken by any fault, "you who are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness..." This causes some to ask, "Where are they?"
Based on the scriptural criteria cited above, it seems there are very few "spiritual people" in the organized church today! A study of the Word of God clearly demonstrates that the heart of God is "restoration." In the man-made organizational church - denominational and nondenominational - there is little emphasis on restoring believers who have stumbled, and possibly even fallen.
